The minimum land tariff for tourists visiting Bhutan is as follows: March, April, May, September, October & November High Season Tariff US $ 200 per night January, February, June, July, August & September Low Season Tariff US$ 165 per night

The minimum land tariff includes the following package:
Royalty
Charges for accomodation
Food
Service of guides
Transport within Bhutan
Riding ponies and pack animals on treks
Trekking staff and equipment
SECTION 2
TARIFFS FOR INDIVIDUALS (FITS)
Individuals travelling single or in a group of two shall be subject to extra surcharge applicable as follows: Single Individual US$ 40 per night Group of 2 US$ 30 per night

The 10% agency commission payable to agents abroad shall not be deductible from the surcharge

The surcharge will not apply to representatives of foreign travel agents on business study or promotional visit duly approved by the TAB.
SECTION 3
ROYALTY & OTHER LEVIES
Apart from the package included in section 1, the land tariff includes the following:
Royalty of US$ 65 per tourist per night halt shall be payable during the high season
Royalty of US$ 63 per tourist per night halt shall be payable during the off season months
A sum of US$ 10 per tourist visit shall be payable towards the Tourism Development Fund (TAB) 2% holding tax payable to TAB
SECTION 4
DISCOUNTS ON TOURIST TARIFF
The following discounts shall be allowed:
Diplomats from foreign embassies/missions accredited to Bhutan shall be given a 25% discount on the daily rates.
There shall be no charge for Children up to the age of five years. However, those between the age of six to twelve years accompanied by elders shall be given a 25% discount on the daily rates.
Full time Students below the age of twenty five holding valid identity cards from their respective academic institutions shall be given 25% discounts on the daily rates.
A discount of 50% on daily rates shall be given to one member in a group exceeding sixteen persons.
A 100% discount shall be given to one member in a group exceeding sixteen persons.
A discount of 10% on the daily rates shall be provided for halts between eleven to twenty nights and a 20% discount on halts beyond twenty one nights.
